About the Artist

Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Candice moved to Texas in 2016. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Studio Arts with a minor in Art History from Baldwin Wallace College and holds an Associate’s degree in Visual Design from Tri-C. Her studies took her across Europe, where she explored historic and modern works of art and architecture throughout Greece, Italy, France, Germany, and England—visiting renowned cultural centers such as Athens, Rome, Paris, and London. Nature has long served as a guiding influence in her artistic journey. From childhood sketches of animal hybrids and imagined creatures to her current works featuring realistic nature scenes and surrealist beasts, she has always found inspiration in the natural world. Proficient across multiple mediums, she gravitates toward watercolor for its expressive and fluid qualities while also incorporating colored pencil, graphite, and experimental mixed media into her practice.

A lifelong learner, she enjoys creating both indoors and outdoors, often drawing inspiration from time spent in nature. Her creative pursuits extend beyond painting to include jewelry making, oil painting, and digital art, reflecting her deep curiosity and passion for hands-on creativity.
